Ijtihad Journal for Islamic and Arabic Studies (IJAIS)

Ijtihad Journal for Islamic and Arabic Studies is issued by the Ijtihad Center for Studies and Training and Ijtihad Publications in Belgium and is registered in the Royal Belgian Library (KBR) and the National Scientific Library, under the serial number: ISSN: 2983-9939, ISSNe: 3041-4679. The journal is biannual and peer-reviewed in accordance with international academic standards. The journal is concerned with Islamic and Arabic studies in Europe and the West, and the different issues that are related to this field of knowledge, such as Theological and Religious Studies, Orientalism, Occidentalism, Interfaith Dialogue, Pluralism, Comparative Religion, Jurisprudence of Muslim Minorities, and Otherness, among others.

Research Booklets Series

The Research Booklets Series is a scholarly publication initiative of the Ijtihad Center for Studies and Training (Belgium). The series is registered with the Royal Library of Belgium (KBR) and the National Scientific Library under the serial identifiers ISSN 3041-7651 (Print) and ISSNe 3041-766X (Online).

The series aims to explore a wide range of contemporary religious, intellectual, educational, social, political, media, and critical issues, with particular attention to the study of Islam in European and Western contexts, while also addressing other topics of scholarly interest. The booklets are published in digital format in Arabic and other languages and feature contributions by specialized researchers affiliated with the Ijtihad Center, as well as scholars from universities and research institutions worldwide.
