Ijtihad Center is an independent, non-profit Belgian European institution specializing in the study of Islam in Europe and the West. It combines academic research on various issues of Islam and Muslims in the Western context on the one hand, and specialized and open training for different target groups in various Islamic sciences, knowledge and fields on the other hand.
The institution is given the name: Ijtihad Center for Studies and Training. The Ijtihad Center was officially established in the city of Ghent, Belgium, in 2021. It was registered at the Court of First Instance and the Institutions Information Bank (KBO), and this was announced in the Official Gazette at the time, under the registration number: 0776.886.559.
